  1. If you ask for coffee the way you like it the barista will either be excited to make it or a little confused. Either way I’ve never had a barista say they won’t make me a milk drink the way I like (1:1 or 1:2)

Now will their process make a good espresso without all that milk… that’s a gamble.

  2. Hmmm, maybe ask for a flat white, just to be sure…

    Yikes! Americans are something else…

Places like this – I just ask for a flat white.

I had to look up what Pero was cause I know that even decaf coffee has some caffeine. Apparently Pero is malted barley, chicory, and rye. It “offers a smooth, coffee-like experience”. I’m sure it’s delightful, but I’m getting [Nutrimatic drink dispener](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAswvg60FnY) vibes… “it then invariably delivers a cup-full of liquid that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea”.

Idaho is not known for its coffee, that’s for sure

    MURICANS dream spot.

The coffee menu 😂 Not only does it have the “sizes” but they’re all flavored or mostly milk drinks. I guess the first sign is very instructive. Did you walk up and order a cortado?

That first photo – the sign should be in the bedroom

The biggest issue I run into when I’m in a new area is that places like this often have good reviews because people like them, generally speaking. It doesn’t mean they have great coffee, they just deliver a product the average person enjoys. I feel like high end shops need their own platform or app, service of some kind

Personally I’m going for the cold brew; let’s see what 16oz of that does to my heart…

Fingers crossed it’s not just cold leftover drip 😬

This is not a coffee first establishment, it’s more of an accouterment.

  12. Probably not great quality

but those prices though. $4.20 Latte? Don’t mind if I do. That’s like $7.50 here.

  13. I think that sign accurately describes something like 90% of American coffee drinkers

  14. Who drinks 750 ml coffee?  The large Americano must be super watery or contain like 6 shots of espresso… bizarre.

24 oz of mostly dairy prob means their restroom is horrid

  16. I remember taking the word for a ‘best coffee place in town’ from a guy I worked with when I joined. He said it’s cool and hipster and they have lovely coffee. All sounds promising I thought. I went with him one day and he ordered a mocha. He said that’s what he always orders. Now I’m not judging a decent mocha but it’s not a way to recognise whether a coffee shop is good or not. Fortunately it was a good place and their pourovers were lovely but I’ll always be wary of advice like this.

  17. Gatekeeping on milk drinks is ridiculous…can’t we agree that it’s the people pumping artificially flavored sugar syrup that need to be mocked and sneered at?
